  1. Financial Update – Barry Lambert
    • Update Board on financial status of MGA
      1. Treasury is well funded but several club charges are in question
      2. Board is challenging Club’s total billing of members’ dues – Ivy Spivey was researching but she has recently resigned – Bob to follow up with accounting
  2. Tournaments
    1. Member-Member Match Play Tournament
      1. Scheduled for 6/8&9/2019 – 8 am Shotgun start
      2. Tournament format formalized –Five two man teams per flight (Day 1 > 3 nine hole matches) (Day 2 > 2 nine hole matches) – teams must be within 7 strokes of each other or handicap adjustment enforced
        1. Adam has planned F&B for Saturday (boxed lunches), and f&b for Sunday (Patio dining) – follow up with Bryant to allow Jersey Mike’s to provide Sunday lunch
        2. Bloody Mary bar and Burritos available at member charge each morning - continuous keg beer on course during tournament
        3. JD to send message out to recruit sponsors
        4. follow up with Shawn Keefe (new member) and owner of Harry’s
        5. Barry Lambert to sponsor two days, JD Darling to sponsor keg
      3. Golf Genius – Set Up
        1. Tournament Sign Up – made available to Members Wednesday May 8th
        2. MAJOR TOURNAMENT = POINTS ARE DOUBLED, Cost per man is $120
        3. Tournament format, pairing, point system, etc. in Golf Genius  – to be set by Chris, Steve, and Skip by June 8th
        4. Tournament to be set up as Multi-Round tournament
        5. We agreed not to pursue any fund raising activities
  3. Pro Shop Update – Chris Ferguson

                          a. Actively recruiting Pro Shop staff

  1. Handicap Committee Update – Bob Karlowicz
    1.         a. Jerrry Obenour has staffed a handicap committee and meeting is scheduled for 5/13
    2.       b. Handicap Committee website is available on line for all members
  2. Discussion Topics –
      1. Bob working with Club leadership to determine appreciation event, if possible for Gary Lee - $2500 fund donated by MGA members to be presented
      2. Concern regarding oversized cart and potential course abuse (owner Josh Sandler) – to be reviewed at Board of Governors meeting on 5/9
