1. Financial Update – Barry Lambert
   • Reviewed financial status and money available for MGA Kickoff Dinner - funds are available – current balance in Treasury $10,460
   • MGA dues were billed on 1/8/18 and totaled $12,551
2. Tournaments

1. Legends Tournament - Scheduled for 1/27/2018
   1. Tournament format finalized – Lone Ranger Format – “A” players choose teams and must pick a B,C, and D player
      1. Board voted to assign holes played by each player based on highest handicap holes by “D” players, lowest handicap holes played by “A” player and so on > Amber to designate holes to be played in Golf Genius
      2. Adam to plan Friday night draft party> location, beverage > Food and beverage for Saturday is 100% set > Barry Lambert (Atlantis Financial) will sponsor the Keg for Friday night
      3. Steve to coordinate Friday teams’ draft and scoring for Saturday with Amber >  we will have $80 team skins and CTP prizes sponsored by Jersey Mike’s
      4. Amber, Adam and Skip to determine budget (F&B/ Prize Money) - copy Barry
      5. Bob will ensure club provides two beverage carts’ staff
   2. Golf Genius – Set Up - Amber and Skip to handle
      1. Tournament Sign Up – Amber, Skip and Steve met to make available to Members Tuesday 1/9
      2. Amber to set up Tournament format, pairings, points schedule, etc. in Golf Genius

1. Pro Shop Update – Amber Lynch
   • Reviewed status of Crystal Awards for “Big Mike” Award winner (Duff Tussing) and Player of the Year > proofs have been received and approved….. Awards to be engraved this week > on target
2. MGA Kickoff Dinner
   • Bob and Adam met with Andrea and Ranch staff on Thursday 1/4 to plan food and beverage, agenda and logistics > Dinner plans are 100% set
   • Amber and Skip mad invite and sign up available to members by January 3rd –  instructions how to add spouse/guest to attendance list will be sent to members on Tuesday 1/9 by Amber
   • Barry Lambert is responsible to balance budget and coordinate payment to Club for event
   • Bob to handle presentation of awards and opening presentation

 

1. Board Discussion Topics –
   • Golf Genius scoring - Board has voted and approved to mandate the use of Golf Genius scoring in all future golf tournaments. The approved penalties for not complying with usage or not matching scorecard are as follows;
     1. Member or Team’s does not comply with usage and does not enter score in Golf Genius = Member or Team is disqualified from tournament
     2. Member’s or Team’s score in Golf Genius does not match official scorecard = Member or Team is disqualified from tournament
   • Tee/Handicap status for 70 year olds – Board has voted and approved to allow MGA Members 70 years and older to play white tees, regardless of handicap index level.
